Thank You for Your visit!
Congratulations to the 39 women who broke the old Illinois State Women's Record and the 32 who set a brand new Illinois State Sequential Women's Record at Skydive Chicago. Thanks to JaNette Lefkowitz and Christy Frikken from SDC Rhythm XP for inviting me to be part of such a great event!
Skydive Chicago's Summerfest sure didn't disappoint. 9 days, 8 parties, 26 jumps, an approximately 5 hour/night sleeps resulted in 4600 photos! I had a blast reuniting with old friends and making new ones. Happy for all my friends who were on the newly established 164 way Vertical World Record! Glad that Casey, Gomie and I got to share the stage and people had a great time listening to us. I wonder how long will it take to recover!
The only thing nicer this weekend were the big ways organized by Roger Ponce & TJ Hine during the 4 gorgeous days of Freedom Fest! Yes, I said 4! Thanks TJ for asking me to come along and capture those amazing dives! Special thanks to Skydive Chicago for having such great facilities (making my job a whole lot easier) and to Max Sinklair.
Finally! Couldn't have asked for nicer weather to start up the 2015 season at Skydive Chicago. The skydives organized by Max Meijer were also as picturesque! 4 point 18 way before 5000, isn't too shabby! Also thanks Cat for a fun potato head dive with Josh and Mike to shake the rust off.
And that's a wrap! At least for my Midwestern 2014 Season. To sum it up I have one word for you: mindFOCKINblowing!
For another very successful year I would like to thank my sponsor Meredith Ottery and String Theory Productions, Rook Nelson, Hillary Hmura, Skydive Chicago, my packer Nell Flemer, my teams SDC Adrenal8! and Jim Rees, Dallas Khaos Black, Max Meijer, TJ Hine, Roger Ponce, JaNette and Steven Lefkowitz, Sandy Grillet, Laura Sharp, Jane McGuire and Le Verve!
The 2014 Rookiefest proved my theory yet again about how skydivers should rule the world! Skydive Chicago was presented with a great challenge after someone sabotaged the Chicago Air Traffic Control center in Aurora, but on Saturday Chicagoland Skydiving Center opened up it's doors, shared their dropzone and welcomed the Skydive Chicago's staff and customers with 2 planes and at an estimated over 100 people. As much as I raise my hat to FAA's air traffic controllers for handling such an extremely sever situation without a single incident, I also raise it for the Skydive Chicago staff, coaches, instructors, packers and videographers for their teamwork and making the most out of what Saturday brought. It was pretty amazing how smoothly the day went by! Not a single glitch [aside from me almost missing my load] attesting the professionalism of both Chicagoland Skydiving Center and Skydive Chicago!
"The day I became an honorary Texan!" Still on cloud 9 about the 2014 USPA Nationals! I could go on and on how things unfolded throughout the years and this season, how everything fell in place, but instead I just would like to thank all those who helped me get my first 2 medals!
My sponsor Meredith Ottery and String Theory Productions, Rook Nelson and Skydive Chicago, SDC Adrenal8.1! [Chuck will get a hearth attack if he sees I've renamed the team (>8)K] and Jim Rees, Dallas Khaos Black, JaNette and Steven Lefkowitz, Jane McGuire and Le Verve.
Also special thanks to Alan Butt, Andy Boyd, Henrik Sternberg, Tracy and Tom Bohm, Andy Honigbaum, Nathan Dexter, Kevin Naftzger and John Hamilton!
The soreness and the bruises after a training camp are like photographs of your vacation, reminding you how much fun you had! With all the obstacles thrown at team Le Verve, we still managed to make 11+11 jumps, both in 7 hours! Special thanks to Kevin Brown for lending me his rig, my amazing packer Nell Flemer, Donovan Bartlett for finding Andre's canopy and freebag so fast, Tracy for the quick pack job and manifest and the pilots of Skydive Chicago!
The highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows. Madness at Summerfest! The only way to describe the past week! Thanks Skydive Chicago, Rook Nelson, Hillary Hmura, Donovan Bartlett, Tj Hine, Sandy Grillet, the pilots, manifest, Eat Up crew and ground crew for a mind blowing event!
Unfortunately this weekend also brought a new experience. Receiving the sad news of having one of my students pass away in a BASE jumping accident. Putting emotions aside, fighting back tears, being professional and do the job I was hired to do was one of the toughest things throughout my camera flying career! Blue Skies Adam!
We may have had some weather, but with 9 complete jumps, the Roger Ponce and TJ Hine organized 38 ways during Skydive Chicago's Freedom Fest was a great success! I'm really lucky to have the chance of working with so many great talents! The more I fly camera, the more I love it!
It was trully a special moment! Thanks everyone!
I was amazed by the commitment from those who showed up and stuck it out, and the out pour of compassion from those who couldn't be there! Special thanks goes out to TJ for organizing Jeff's dive, Dave Schwartz for making every effort to put us in the sky and Donovan for making an executive decision and sending the plane up with a special order to let us take as much time as we need to find some airspace to work with even if it takes a while!
What an amazing Memorial day weekend at Skydive Chicago!! Thank you Max Meijer for allowing me the best view of your large formation skydives! I hope the photos and videos reflect how amazing they were. 2 days of 12-16 way jumps followed by jumping with Steven Lefkowitz's group as part of the SDC Rhythm XP organized Team for a day event. You know you'll have a great day jumping, when at 7 am Steven shows up with his signature grin on his face!
Chilly start to our first training camp with SDC Adrenal8!, but mother nature showed us mercy and Sunday turned out to be a picture perfect day for jumping! The team didn't disappoint! The experience showed and had a great time. Looking forward to our next jumps in June!
Special thanks to Chris Frisella from Bonehead Composites and Trunk from Hypoxic!
A short cut, but fun weekend with SDC Crush mainly due to weather conditions. Knocking on wood, it seems my new helmet is in it's final stages! Famous last words, right!? Can't wait to our first training weekend with SDC Adrenal8!
Excited to join forces with SDC Adrenal8 and SDC Crush and to be sponsored by String Theory for the 2014 season!
The Britany Fitzwater organized Jump for autism event at Skydive Chicago was a great way to kick off the season! It wasn't uneventful as my new helmet arrived the last second and had to pretty much work on it overnight to set it up for the weekend. While lending a hand to newly joined 4 way team, Extreme during their first training day, enjoyed to take part and many photographs of the fundraiser which turned out to be a great success! There was 50/50 raffle, silent action [no surprising the 10 minutes iFly tunnel time was neck and neck with the 4 cases of beer donated by Revolution Brewery] Closed the night with a very exciting pool tournament.
With my reserve going out of date this week and winter seems to be knocking on the door, my 2013 Midwestern Skydiving Season drawn to a close! I would like to say thanks first and foremost to Ryan Risberg for his heroic efforts on August 1st! Special thanks to my team, 55 North, Carrie Doll-Morman, Kork Doll, Michael Gamble and Patrick MacCaffray for a fun filled great season! Also thanks to Rook Nelson and Skydive Chicago and in chronological order to: Reva and Seth Meyerink-Griffin, Meredith Ottery, SDC Octimus Prime, SDC Crush, Todd Morman, Chuck Finley, TJ Hine, Alex and Jess Bittner, JaNette and Steven Lefkowitz, Christy Frikken, Charles Lane, Brian 'BK' Krause, Craig Girard, Helen Morris, Eric Bickel, Laura Sharp for her continuing support and the many amazing people I got to jump with this Year!
The 4th annual Rookiefest at Skydive Chicago was a blast! Although Saturday was pretty much a wash due to strong winds, after sharing some beers and good moments with the participants at night, we managed to finish 3 rounds on Sunday! It's great to see how well our students are taught across the country! Let's do it again next Year!
Finally got a chance to catch up with photos, etc.! Can't even find the words to describe the past couple of weeks! Summerfest, MMI, 1000th, Women's State Record, Skydiving Museum weekend, Nationals and the season isn't over yet! Congratulations to Skydive Chicago for breaking the previous record, and flew 172 plane loads on the first day of 4 way FS competition! Thanks for the ground crew, pilots, manifest and loaders for keeping the over 500 skydiving competitors safe! To keep up with the scores, visit: OmniSkore HD or USPA Nationals
This weekend proved my decision about moving to Skydive Chicago a Year ago to be right. With all the world class skydivers present, this dropzone became the place to break records. Congratulations to all 35 amazing ladies who broke the 30 Year old Illinois State Women's record and came literally inches close to set an Illinois State Women's Sequential one! Thank you for all the kind words towards our work! It's been truly appreciated! Thanks JaNette Lefkowitz and Christy Frikken for the amazing planning and organizing! To the pilots, manifest, loaders and last but not least Rook Nelson for providing such an amazing "playground" and keep improving it.
And a little pet on the back for Charles Lane and myself too! Weekends like these are why I've started flying camera and taking skydiving photos!
And finally hitting the big four digits! 1000!
This weekend was just too perfect in every way imaginable! Perfect weather, filmed 22 great skydivers attempting to build very challenging big way formations over Skydive Chicago and managed to squeeze in my 1000th jump at the end of Saturday with a sunset high pull!
Thank you Chuck and TJ for inviting me to video this Year's MMI! It was a blast working with you all!
Also would like to thank Ryan Risberg for organizing my 1000th jump and Kenny Simon, Justin Freeman and Trevor Caswell for coming along the ride and celebrating with me! What better way to spend your milestone jump, than with some amazing friends!
What a crazy 3 weeks it has been! Although said good bye to one friend, still had fun hanging out with old ones and making new ones at Summerfest! Crazy shenanigans, fun jumps, great parties! All'n'all didn't disappoint!
Last Saturday attended the very first MWSL meet hosted by Skydive Midwest with 55 North, where besides taking 1st place in 'A' class also received the judge's award for the camera work. Also made arrangements with the team for the 2013....waitforit....US Nationals hosted by Skydive Chicago! (>8)K
A fun and great skydives filled day with SDC Crush! Way to go gals and guys!
Holy humidity! Well, at least we were jumping. This Year's second MWSL meet at Skydive Chicago had 10 teams signed up and tons of good vibes under SDC Rhythm XP organizing and coaching. On Sunday SDC 55 North! managed to finish the remaining 4 rounds with a grand total of 64 points. And about the same amount of fun! (>8)K
Thank you JaNette and Steve for the opportunity to jump with SDC Octimus Prime! Very promising what I saw/recorded/took pictures of!
Holy smokes! Longest dry spell ever! But what a kawesome way to break it, not other than training with SDC 55 North!
Things are looking up for the 2013 season! The calendar is filling! Only a little bit over a week before Safety Day!
With the last party of the season this Saturday it's time to thank all the amazing folks who made this Year possible for me!
Ok, this will be my almost guaranteed to fail attempt at naming everyone, but here it goes.

Be careful where you
leave your camera! I may just snitch it and take kawesome pictures of
pretty girls with it! There was a lot of candy last night! Eye candy
that is! (>8)K
Even though my reserve been out of date for weeks and haven't made a jump for a month, this season seems to be far from being over! Fun times at the SDC Halloween party last night!
Boy was I busy in the
past few weeks! Sorry for the delay! Guess I was right back in March
regarding to how crazy my season going to be! Thanks to Erin Horton, I
got the chance to film the 2012 Rookiefest
along side Brian Holtz. Kudos to the organizers, coaches and camera
guys! We managed to finish 4 of the 5 rounds on the first day! The
scores were so close that it was pretty much anybody's game on Sunday.
Congratulations to 1st - Paul K., 2nd - Mark P. and 3rd - Lina A!
Next Thursday I flew out to California to bring the Orange to Orange County and attend the 11th Skydiving Chicks Rock Boogie at Elsinore. It didn't suck escaping the cold front! I had an amazing time reuniting with friends whom I haven't seen for Years and enjoyed making a few skydives with people I use to film! YES! I was touching people in the sky! Isn't it weird!? (>8)K
I would like to give a shout out to both Southwest Airlines and TSA for making my flight as convenient and hassle free as possible!
It's shame how long it took, but finally made the effort to visit Skydive Midwest during their Chicks Dig Skydiving Boogie! Still have bonfire smell in my nose and a grin on my face. Made a handful of fun jumps, new friends and trained another handful of great folks the language HENglish! Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and hospitality! Looking forward to come back soon to enjoy the gorgeous view of Lake Michigan from 14000 feet!
Thanks to Shannon and Karyn from SDC Furies for asking me to fill in for Todd after his unfortunate cut-away. Enjoyed recording some rockstar and sexy exits and meeting some amazing, very promising skydivers!
A short cut', but joyful MWSL meet at Skydive Chicago with Re-Rivals! The Midwest better watch out, because they are onto something! Congratulations to Carrie, Kork, Michael and Patrick for taking first place in the 2012 Rookie class! Special thanks to Alan Butt for organizing the NSL events for 11 Years and looking forward to compete at future ones directed/coached by JaNette and Steve Leftkowitz!
When I've started filming teams, I was worried, it will get boring, just "hanging" out there over a team. Boy was I wrong! Even after 100's of training and competition jumps I have a blast! Thank you Re-Rivals for the fun during the MWSL meet on Saturday! It was great going down on memory lane with friends from Archway Skydiving Center! I miss that place!
Flight and car booked! Bringing some orange to Orange county! Chicks Rock watch out! Operation 'Palm tree' is on!
Epic party, epic jumps and catching up with epic long-time-not-seen friends at SDC's Summerfest! Oh, better not forget about the fireworks with stunt shows!
Thank you Matt Faivre for organizing such a successful and fun filled event with Jim 'Ras' Rasmussen, April Schuldt and John Bechtel! Congratulations to all the participants for their amazing achievements! I don't know too much about CReW, but was surely impressed with all of you!

Great party on Fryday [pun intended] to the tunes of DJ Jody!
Kickin' some butt with Joined at the grips during the MWSL meet and another fun filled night on Saturday
And some crazy kawesome IL State sitfly record attempts with the Sitfly Ninja aka. Zachary R Sabel and the GodFather aka. Simon Bones!
Also caught up with some old friends and made a couple new ones. I may be bruised, tired and beaten, but wouldn't have it any other way!
What a great weekend at the dz during the Burlesque for Breasts fundraiser! One of the best parties on Saturday night!
Unfortunately due to the strong winds the students were grounded most of the weekend, but managed to take Adam and Reva for coaching.
ps: replaced the lost camera and installed a new quick release! Hence the delay on the videos.
Despite my still camera becoming a rebel and choose it's own landing spot, had an amazing time training with Syndicate under Andy Delk's coaching again!
An unfortunately short cut but great training weekend with the CSC Angry Birds!
Had a great time training with SDC Edge! Thanks for having me and the intermediate class better watch out at Nationals! (>8)K
Special thanks to Sunny for being gentle on my neck!
What a way to start up the season! Spent the weekend at SDC starting with their Safety Day on Friday, St. Patrick's day on Saturday after a little skydiving, finished it up with a fun 4 way VRW organized by Kat from LiquidSky Sports and filming some 12 way on Sunday! If the past weekend is any indication what the season ahead will bring, I better get a Red Bull sponsorship!!
And the official 2011 skydiving season has came to an end for me! Special thanks to: Brian Kalke, Tracy Bohm & Tom Bohm, CSC Syndicate, Barry Williams, Freefall University and all of it's great students, Laura Sharp, Chris Kolegas, Paul Piccolo, Eric Bambach, See you all in the future! Exciting news today! Reuniting with Tom Bohm [former CSC Pareto Optimal] and joining CSC Syndicate on their first training next weekend. Future events are in plans also!

The 2010 US Nationals is only days away! And guess what?! I'll be competing! Thanks to Barry Williams!
